Bob has studied under Peter Ralston through the Island Photographic Workshop; Jeff Nixon, who served as a darkroom assistant to Ansle Adams, and noted black and white photographer, John Sexton. Webb himself has served as past instructor for the Southern Alleghenies Photographic Workshop and currently teaches photo/camera workshops as requested. While Webb’s primary emphasis is Portraiture, he has also recently had his writing and photography published in Westsylvania magazine and Fly, Rod and Reel magazine. He was a finalist in the Western Pennsylvania Golden Quill Award in 2005 for an article and photography about local bronze artist Wayne Hyde. Bob enjoys supplementing his photographic interests with other artistic mediums and because of that interest has opened the Main Street Gallery in Bedford, which showcases the work of area artists. He continues to expand his personal creative side as an art student at the Foundry Art Studio in Everett, PA and serves on the Board of Directors for the Bedford County Arts Council. |
